Histoire de la Lumière d'Atys

Souvenir

Un homin entre. Il laisse vagabonder son regard et observe la pièce où il se trouve. Elle est circulaire et spacieuse. Quelques débris de verre laisse supposé la présence de décoration subtils et magnifique. Au centre de la pièce, subsistent des écrits éparpillés sur une table circulaire. Un carreau baille, laissant entré un courant d’air froid. Rien ne laisse présager que ce fut tenu ici des assemblés et des cérémonies. Rien ne laisse supposé que les espoirs des homins ont surgit de cette pièce.

L’homin pose son sac prés de l’entrée, pénètre alors plus avant dans la pièce et s’avance jusqu'à la fenêtre. Il jette un regard sur la forêt environnante. Son port laisse entrevoir la grâce de son visage. Le vent balai ses longs cheveux blonds. Les yeux fermé, il soupir. Il soupir en pensant au fracas des armes. Il soupir en se souvenant que c’est la puissance de Ces êtres qui a pu tout détruire ce que les homins ont construit. Il sait qu’il doit partir rejoindre les siens avant l’anéantissement de son espèce. Enfin les siens. Plutôt ce qu’il en reste. Dame Lineyl, dernière descendante d’une longue et valeureuse lignée. Elle est la dernière, rescapée d’un massacre sans précédent.

En regardant au loin il aperçoit de la fumée. Sans doute encore un village qui brûle sous les coups des kitins. Un rayon de soleil perce les nuages. Il laisse entrevoir le visage du guerrier. De nombreuses cicatrices le couturent. Fraîches pour certaines issues des griffes de ces monstres, les kitins. D’autres bien plus anciennes mais non moins tout aussi terribles. Toutes elles racontent que ce matis est toujours la. Toujours la pour servir Dame Lineyl. Pour servir l’Arbre. Pour servir la Lumière.
