Attention! Ne ne confondez pas l'Histoire et les histoires!

Il existe deux catégories proches qui peuvent conduire à confusion. Attention de bien choisir la bonne.
  • La catégorie Histoires officielles recense les histoires contées par les animateurs mais absentes des Chroniques.
  • La catégorie Chroniques regroupe les histoires de la Lore officielle d'Atys.

Les autres Histoires dans les catégories Littérature et Histoire sont soit des histoires vécues ou inventées par les joueurs, soit des Chroniques perdues ou sans références précises.

Lumière sur …

“

Oflovak Rydon était un grand voyageur des Anciennes Terres. Il est connu pour avoir sauvé la vie de milliers de Fyros lors du Grand Essaim. Il partit de Fyre, l'ancienne capitale de l'Empire, et conduisit son peuple à l'abri dans des régions reculées. Au septième jour de ce périple, tandis qu'Oflovak se hissait sur la crète d'une dune, un halo de lumière descendit du ciel. Il s'en approcha et entendit les paroles d'un être supérieur.

« Oflovak Rydon, écoute-moi bien ! Je m'appelle Elias Tryton et je me présente à toi pour vous sauver... Conduis ton peuple vers l'est. Lorsque vous atteindrez le Récif de Baldos, vous trouverez un arc-en-ciel. Le temps presse Oflovak, va et accomplis ton destin ! »

Oflovak, impressionné, tomba à genoux et s'écria : « Comptez sur moi Elias ! Tant que l'air remplira mes poumons, je ne m'arrêterai pas ! »

Les minutes étaient comptées... Non loin de là, vers le Sud, se trouvaient des troupes kitins. Le vent qui soufflait pouvait trahir à tout moment la position des milliers de Fyros en exode. Oflovak encouragea son peuple à le suivre et, fidèle à sa parole, le mena à bon port. Les homins accueillirent avec joie et soulagement le spectacle qu'offrait le Récif de Baldos : un arc-en-ciel ! Celui-ci permit aux homins de se réfugier dans les Primes Racines. Oflovak se retourna et regarda une dernière fois les terres qu'il allait quitter.

« Reviendrons-nous ? », soupira-t-il, tout en faisant non de la tête.

Au fil des jours, les homins se réfugiaient de plus en plus nombreux dans les Primes Racines. Tous racontaient les images d'horreur et de dévastation dont ils ont été les témoins. Il ne faisait alors plus aucun doute pour Oflovak Rydon que les kitins allaient détruires les derniers Arcs-en-ciels. Ainsi disparaîtraient les dernières portes menant aux Anciennes Terres... Comment sortir les peuples homins des Primes Racines ?

Une fois de plus, Oflovak trouva la voie en regardant le ciel. En effet, s'était tout de suite mis à cartographier les régions que les homins occupaient. Avec ses deux apprentis, Deutheus Xaphaan et Be'Cauny Kedgy, il trouva un lieu dans les Primes Racines d'où il pouvait observer les étoiles. Grâce aux connaissances qu'il avait amassées au cours de ses nombreux voyages, il avait appris à retrouver son chemin en fonction de la position des étoiles, il put conclure que les homins se trouvaient à l'ouest des Anciennes Terres.

Oflovak et ses deux apprentis passèrent les années suivantes de leurs vie à parcourir des lieues et des lieues en quête des Anciennes Terres. C'est au cours de ce périple qu'il trouva les refuges que sont les Nouvelles Terres. Il y resta le temps d'en cartographier une grande partie, puis il repartit seul, laissant ses apprentis derrière lui pour continuer son travail.

Je n'étais qu'un enfant à l'époque, mes parents faisaient partie des homins sauvés par la voie tracée par Oflovak Rydon et purent s'installer dans les Nouvelles Terres. Je regrette qu'Oflovak, un héros de notre peuple, n'ait pas pu voir la renaissance de notre civilisation. Néanmoins, parfois, j'aime à croire qu'il nous regarde de là-haut sur un nuage aux côtés d'Elias.
