Présentation générale

Atys, planète enchanteresse baignée de légendes et de mystères où la flore règne en maître. Une biodiversité aussi riche a pu évoluer grâce aux cinq écosystèmes : les déserts embrasés, les fraîches forêts, les jungles exotiques et la région des lacs vierges, sans oublier les mystérieuses cavernes et les Primes Racines.

Le grand désert d'Atys est une terre sauvage balayée par le vent et évitée de tous, à l'exception des Fyros qui y mènent une existence prospère tout en reconstruisant leur civilisation. L'endroit le plus fascinant de ce désert est sans aucun doute la grande cité fyros qui est également une forteresse très impressionnante. Même si les dangers sont innombrables et les oasis rares, l'esprit intrépide qui s'aventure sur ces terres hostiles est récompensé par une multitude de ressources précieuses comme différents types de bois rares.

Des vents violents, de grandes périodes de sécheresse, des températures suffocantes le jour et glaciales la nuit, font de ces dunes embrasées des pièges mortels pour un voyageur égaré.

Les forêts d'Atys plantent un somptueux décor, nous rappelant constamment la domination de la flore. En ces lieux, des arbres majestueux atteignent des proportions colossales, chaque arbre pouvant accueillir des centaines de personnes. De grandes crevasses, présentes dans le lit de la forêt et causées par les grandes racines, conduisent aux entrailles d'Atys. Les forêts d'Atys sont les zones de prédilection des Matis qui y ont construit leur majestueuse cité. Les matières premières abondent et on y trouve de nombreuses essences de feuilles.

Les forêts bénéficient d'un climat tempéré, idéal pour les homins ainsi que pour les plantes et les autres créatures. Les saisons se caractérisent par une alternance de froid et pluvieux à chaud et sec.

Les Zoraïs ont installé leurs villes et villages enchanteurs dans la jungle où la Sève coule en abondance et nourrit la flore grandissante. Il ne faut cependant pas se fier au décor chaleureux et haut en couleurs du labyrinthe végétal car les dangers sont multiples. La jungle est infectée en de nombreux endroits par la pestilence de la goo, un cancer qui ronge inexorablement la vie, ravageant les habitats, les plantes et engendrant d'horribles créatures.

Cependant, un explorateur averti sera récompensé par la beauté des nombreuses ressources, dont le précieux ambre.

L'archipel magique de la région des lacs est une terre enchanteresse perdue entre les jungles et les forêts d'Atys. Cette myriade d'îles est peuplée par les joyeux Trykers qui ont adopté cette région exotique comme lieu de prédilection. La région des lacs offre un décor changeant avec des plages de sable blanc, des chutes d'eau spectaculaires, les extraordinaires villages flottants des Trykers et des falaises dont les formes laissent libre cours à l'imagination. Cet endroit possède de nombreuses ressources dont différentes sortes de carapaces.

Les Primes Racines forment l'écosystème le plus mystérieux d'Atys. L'explorateur curieux sera émerveillé par la beauté remarquable de cet immense labyrinthe fait de cavernes verdoyantes, plongeant dans les entrailles de la planète. La sève s'écoule en rivières sans fin, des plantes fluorescentes éclairent doucement le chemin tandis que des créatures étranges rôdent dans les ténèbres scintillantes. Les Primes Racines regorgent de mystérieux vestiges du passé et de nombreuses ressources variées.
